He was predeceased by: his parents, LaMoine R. Heikes and Opal M. Heikes (Pratt); his wife Kathy; and his brother Dennis. He is survived by: his children, Pam Heikes of Lawrence, KS and Brian Heikes of Shawnee, KS; his stepchildren, Damian Campbell of Parker, CO, Darren Campbell of Hays, KS and Kerie Donahy of Wichita, KS; and his brother Donald Heikes (Gloria) of Lenora, KS. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
