He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Sprigg (Joos) and Leon Sprigg; his son Dwight; and his brother Norman. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Meier; his children, Kathy Holste (Jay) of Norton, David Sprigg (Charla) of Norton and Tamara Ziegelmeier (Steve) of Colby; his sister Faith Hays of Norton; his daughter-in-law Michelle Sprigg of Norton; and his grandchildren, Kelsey Olson (Casey), Courtney Siemens (James), Keesha Deetlefs (Heinrich), Timothy Sprigg (Katelyn), Michael Sprigg (Kara Jo), Jessica Danso (Henry), Dustyna Roman (Ernesto), Dylan Sprigg (Jordan), Kellan Ziegelmeier (Taylor), Brook Ziegelmeier, Brennan Ziegelmeier, Kinley Ziegelmeier and Adrian Ziegelmeier. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
