He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Jay and Linda S. Smith (Scott); his grandparents, Carolyn, Wallace Smith, Gerald and Jean McLaughlin; his grandparents-in-law, Edwin, Lorraine Coulter, Vernon Barnett, Mildred and Gerald Green; and his father-in-law Richard Barnett.
He is survived by: his wife Corene Barnett; his children, Grace, Eden and Axel Smith; his brother Michaell Smith (Heather) of Galveston, TX; his mother-in-law Janet Dunbar (Ron) of Menahga, MN; and his brothers-in-law, Conrad Dunbar (Carolynn) of Richville, MN and William Dunbar (Keisha) of Menahga, MN. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brian Smith Memorial Fund to help with their children's education funds and may be sent in care of Plumer-Gobber Funeral Home 215 W. Main St., Norton, KS 67654.
