It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adelia Lavond Wilnerd (Norton, Kansas), born in Almena, Kansas, who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Cate and Helen Cate; her husband Dean; her siblings, Robert Cate (Margorie) and Dorothy Chandler (Keith); her siblings-in-law, Wanda Mae Mechsner (Jack) and Harold DeWayne Davis; her nephews, Michael Davis, Scott Davis and Ronald Cate; and her niece Debra Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Ann Hogan (David) of Long Island, KS and Gayle Lea Tacha (Royal) of Hoxie, KS; her grandchildren, Justin Hogan (Debbie), Travis Hogan (Mandy), Dillon Hogan (Cheyenne), Ashley Brooks (Austin) and Garrett Tacha (Sarah Jo); her great grandchildren, Hunter, Kylor, Jensen Hogan, Mason, Delila, Karlene, Boone Hogan, Brynna, Ayden Brown, Josephine, Tucker and Boston Tacha; her sisters, Dolores Lessor (Woodard) and Betty Joyce (Wilnerd-Davis); her brother-in-law David Carter; her nieces and nephews, Philip, Megan Cate, Barbara Cate, Deborah (Cate), Richard Rawlings, Wendi (Davis), Roger Stamback, Fred, Lori Chandler, Kristi (Chandler), Sam Schnuerle, Karla (Chandler), Bart Kenton, Karen (Chandler), Loren Kats, Kelly Lessor, Kim (Lessor) and Karl Baker; and her cousin Billy Jean Westerman.
