Ruth Penner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2025, at the age of 86, Ruth Penner of North Newton, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Eby and Anna Z. Eby. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Penner; her daughter Vicki Penner (Richard Minder); her grandchildren, Sophia and Joseph; her son Larry Penner (Rebecca Weidner); her grandchildren, Zachary and Alison; and her siblings, Martin, Ethel, Warren, Roy, Mary, Henry, Aaron, Ann and Ivan.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kidron Hall at Kidron Bethel Village (3001 Ivy Dr, North Newton, KS 67117).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Mennonite Central Committee and Kidron Bethel Village. Memorial contributions may be left in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
