He was predeceased by: his parents, Miner W. Seymour and Anne Rutherford Seymour; his sisters, Emily Berand and Nancy Billington; and his brother-in-law Howard Knight.
He is survived by: his wife Valetta; his daughter Kate Seymour; his son-in-law Todd Lawrence; his granddaughter Ruth Seymour; and his siblings-in-law, Wanda Knight and John Berend. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
