It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Mae Thieszen of North Newton, Kansas, born in Goessel, Kansas, who passed away on April 28, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob G. Klassen and Katharina Klassen (Woelk); and her siblings, Ella Deines, Walter Klassen and Roline Klassen.
She is survived by: her husband Harold D. Thieszen; her children, Jon Thieszen (Maurine) of Lake City, IA, Kathryn Thieszen of Kansas City, MO and Barbara Thiesen (John) of Newton; her grandson Patrick Thieszen (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Evelyn and Jack; her grandchild Erin Blair (Brawley); her great grandchildren, Olivia and Ethan; and her grandson Andrew Thiesen (Annjela Abbey).
