Eleanor Ruth Nickel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Ruth Nickel of North Newton, Kansas, born in Meno, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, August Schmidt and Esther Schmidt; her husband Bennet Nickel; her brothers, Richard, Donald and Robert Schmidt; and her siblings-in-law, Rachel Enns, Rebecca Nickel Rigby, Abe and Willis Nickel.
She is survived by: her children, Jean (Jim Weber), Jim (Becky Nickel) and Sandra (Andreas Schlaepfer); her brothers, Wilbur (Arlene Schmidt) and James Schmidt; her grandchildren, Jeff, Sara Weber, Julia Weber, Martin Hofkamp, Audrey Thill, Sarah Hofkamp and Olivia Schlaepfer; her great grandchildren, Kinzie Weber, Kaden Weber-Gonzalez, Kaylynn Weber and Ben Weber; and her great great grandchild Dominic Weber.
