He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldo Harms and Hilda Nachtigal Harms. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Williamson; his children, Lonnie Harms (Sandra) of Atlantic, Iowa, Diane Meyers (Ron) of Moore, Lynette Koetting (John) of Newton and Jennifer Martinez (John) of Wichita; and his siblings, Galen Harms of Whitewater, Orlin Harms of Overbrook, Rita Patterson of Valley Center, Connie Fukudome of Cambridge, Mass. and Verla Vogts of Alva, Okla.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday between 1:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M., where the family will receive friends between 6:00 and 8:00 P.M. A memorial has been established with Summit Church of Wichita, contributions may be sent to Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, 120 E. Broadway, Newton, Ks. 67114.
