It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Jean Briggs of Norcatur, Kansas, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth (Elizabeth Briggs) and Mich; her siblings, Perry McElroy, Charles McElroy and Nina Susie Briggs; and her husband Lawrence Whidden.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Worrick (Charity), Mona Morales of Maryville, Rebecca Patton (Kenny) of Maryville and Angelique Tjaden; and her siblings, Jim Briggs and Debra Sanders. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
