He was predeceased by: his son Jeremy D. Tanner; his father William E. Tanner; and his stepfather Jim Willis. He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda L. Petre and Allison P. Tuttle; his grandchildren, Ada Burton, Ian Burton and Corbin Petre; his daughter Lisa Tanner; and his mother Martha Willis. He is also survived by several siblings in Michigan including: Barb Olds of Irons, Richard Heyd of Cadillac, Marti Riggins of Berrian Springs, Doug Heyd of Grand Blanc and Darwin Heyd of Irons; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
