He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Smith; his son Dustin Altum; his brothers, Glenn, Joe and Gene; his brother-in-law Gene; and his parents, Leotta and Don.
He is survived by: his children, Mandy Craig (Mike) and Bobby Altum; his grandchildren, Katelyn Stahly (Brome), Erin Zinn, Alex Altum, Jett, Jeffrey Craig (Bailie) and Preston Craig (Kayla); his great grandchildren, Dawson, Emersyn, Warren and Liam; and his siblings, Donnitta Warren, Ed Altum, Tom Altum (Angela) and Bill Altum (Renita). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Petersen Family Funeral Home (215 N Main St, Newton, KS 67114).
