She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Gillispie and Fairy Gillispie; her former husband Galen Staley; her husband Berle Higgins; her siblings, Harvey, William, James, Cecil Ray Gillispie and Barbara Higgins; and her son Dennis Staley.
She is survived by: her sons, Rodney (Nancy Staley), Kevin (Angie Staley) and Newton; her stepchildren, Paula, Les Schulz, Rick, Cheryl Higgins, Todd, Christine Higgins, Lori, Clark Smith of Columbus, Scott, Marla Higgins, Kirk and Kathy Higgins; and her sister-in-law Audrey Stucky. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 5 great- grandchildren, 12 step grandchildren, 16 step great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice and left with Petersen Funeral Home.
