She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd E. Newton and Bernice Laverne Newton (Babcock); her sons, Michael John and Thomas Dwight; her brother Donald Leo Newton of Monroe; her husband Ted; her sons, Matt and Tom; and her daughter-in-law Carol S. Klaassen (Dawson).
She is survived by: her son Mike (Gerri Colgan); her daughter-in-law Linda J. Klaassen (Kimble); her grandsons, Kourt (Tracy), Derek (Stacee), Brent (Megan), Trevor and Mitchell (Heather); and also Abraham "Abe" Klaassen.
