Shelton Bartley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shelton Bartley of Newton, Kansas, born in Arkansas City, Kansas, who passed away on October 1, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert L. Bartley and Mary Lue Sparks Bartley; his wife Pauline White Bartley; his daughter Jannett Schmidt (Michael); and his sister Earmel Carver.
He is survived by: his children, Red, Laura Wolfe (Harry) of Newton and Michael of Columbus, KS; his son-in-law Randy Schimdt (Vickie) of Sarcoxie, MO; his grandson Jason Schmidt of Carthage, MO.; his sisters-in-law, Vivian Bartley of Newton, KS and Marva White Caney; and his brothers, Nolen (Mildred), Delbert (Yvonne) and Albert Bartley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The casket will be open at the funeral home on Monday between 1:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M., where the family will receive friends between 6:00 and 7:00 P.M. A memorial has been established with St. Jude's Children Hospital.
