With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Gail Preston (Newton, Kansas), who passed away on November 23, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brothers, Orvan and Dean Preston; her nieces, Alison Sweet and Chelise Mitchell; and her nephew Tom Walta.
She is survived by: her great-nephews, Gage and Jase; her sister Lorna Preston; her niece Gail Marsh (Jason); and her siblings, Fred Preston (Dorothy), Dennis Preston, Dorothy Walta and Sue Wacker (Marty).
Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private family committal service will be held in Greenwood Cemetery Newton, Kansas with The Reverend Ron Kite officiating.
Memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, Good Shepherd Hospice or by donating a book to your favorite library in Ruth's name.
