He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob T. Willems and Kathryn Buller Willems; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ann Brainard; his children, William Dean Willems, Alan Janzen (Gale) of Hutchinson, Ruth Love of Canton and Carol Sauerwein (James) of Newton; and his sister Helen Zielke (Darrell) of Seattle, Washington. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; and one-great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with the Church of the Nazarene and Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
