He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gonzalez and Hope Esperanza Terrones Gonzalez; and his brother Vincent T. Gonzalez. He is survived by: his wife Jamie Estrada; his children, Deven Gonzalez (Rachel Holden), Orlando Gonzalez, Ruben Gonzalez, Jr., JamieRay Gonzalez, Marcel Gonzalez and Marcella Gonzalez; his siblings, Gilbert Gonzalez, Raymond V. Gonzalez, Robert Gonzalez (Janie) and Cecilia Smith (Robert); and his granddaughter Sanchez of Newton.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society and the Dillon Nature Center in Hutchinson.
