He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bob Knapp and Betty Knapp (Atkinson); his wife Jean Knapp; his sons, Kevin and Chris Knapp; his sister Beverly Ann Manning; and his grandchildren, Courtney, Michael, Hadley and Everett.

Memorials may be made to the Gary Sinese Foundation and left in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
