Robert Granaas Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Granaas of Newton, Kansas, born in Veblen, South Dakota, who passed away on September 23, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin S. Granaas and Mabel Wilkerson Granaas; his wife Patricia "Pat" Hall; his brothers, Donald and Richard; and his son-in-law Robert Scheffler.

He is survived by: his daughters, Vickie Scheffler of Newton, Deb van der Weg (Jaap) of Newton and Tamara Schroeder (Keith) of Newton; his siblings, Pete of Tucson, Arizona and Betty Trankle of Rapid City; his grandson Daniel Scheffler (Tiffany); his great grandchild Otto of Kansas City; his granddaughter Katherine Outlaw (Tyler); his great grandchild Caroline of Norman, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Michael Scheffler of Kansas City, Staci Krause (Travis) of Wichita and Stephanie Kochenower (Matt); his great grandchildren, Makinley and Madeline of Sedgwick; his granddaughter Laura Brucker (Mike); and his great grandchildren, Cooper, Kolbie of Derby and Nicole Warzeka (Brad) of Wichita. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
