He is survived by: his wife Kay (Romig); his children, Kyle Smyth (Laura) of Newton, KS and Sherri Schechinger Schechinger (Joe) of Fort Worth, TX; his grandchildren, Tanner, Taylor Smyth, Tyler Smyth (Brummet), Claire Schechinger and Alexis Smyth; and his sister Linda Detter (Roger) of Scottsdale, AZ. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and brothers and sisters in law.
