It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Brandon (Newton, Kansas), who passed away on February 16, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rachel Elizabeth Brandon-Hartley and Wilbur Hartley; his wife Patricia Dian Hill; his daughter Dianthia Frydendall; and his siblings, Eugene and Betty.
He is survived by: his stepmother Goldie Marie Hartley; his children, David Brandon of Waterloo, Iowa and Melinda Brand (Kevin) of Maize; his grandchildren, Justin Brand of Lawrence, Trey Brand of McPherson, Rachel Brand of Ft. Collins, Colo and Akera Henderson of Waterloo; and his great grandchild Zy'Rece Henderson of Waterloo.
A memorial has been established with the Food Pantry of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Wichita.
