It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllus Rodriguez of Newton, Kansas, who passed away on February 19, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phyllus Rodriguez to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sebero Rodriguez and Teresa Grajeda Rodriguez; and her siblings, Bacho, Ruben Rodriguez, Josephine Martinez, Gloria Caudillo, Estela Chavez and Vera Martinez.
She is survived by: her sisters, Martha Gomez of Newton, Faye Garcia of Hutchinson and Henrietta Calvillo of Hutchinson; and her siblings-in-law, Carmen Rodriguez, Rayma Rodriguez, Gade Caudillo and Pete Calvillo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The casket will be open at the funeral home on Tuesday (Feb. 23rd) between 1:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M., where the family will receive friends between 5:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. A memorial has been established with Hospice House of Hutchinson and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, contributions may be sent to Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, 120 E. Broadway, Newton, Ks. 67114.
