She was predeceased by: her parents, Gary Blankenship and Retha Blankenship (Strait); her husband John Stoval; her stepson Mark Stoval; and her granddaughter Ashley Stoval.
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Bayes (Tim) of Delaware; and her stepchildren, Danny Stovall (Lesley) of Michigan and Kelly Smead (Brian) of California. She is also survived by Eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Monica's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Delaware Hospice in care of Petersen's Funeral Home.
