It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merrill F Raber (Newton, Kansas), who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Merrill F Raber to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frankin B. Raber and Clara Raber (Jennings); and his siblings, Chester Raber and Ann Raber. He is survived by: his wife Boots; his children, Michael Raber (Sally), Barbara Preheim (Joe) and Steven Raber (Jill); his grandchildren, Lindsay Raber, Cody Raber, Benjamin Preheim, Sarah Staffeldt (Randall), Jake Raber, Max Raber and Kate Raber; and his great grandchild Maggie Staffeldt.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel College Mennonite Church (2600 College Ave, North Newton, KS 67117).
Memorials may be made to Bethel College Mennonite Church or Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) and left in the care of Petersen Funeral Home.
