She was predeceased by: her parents, Alkalie Lucian (Doc) and Lula Frances Carpenter; and her siblings, Ola, Bob, Ona, Almon, Luela, Vernon and Frank.
She is survived by: her husband Warren Leo Crist; her daughter Tina Lee Schmidt (Larry Schmidt); and her grandson Brandon Schmidt (Samantha Schmidt).
A memorial has been established in the name of First Baptist Church, Newton and may be left with Petersen Funeral Home.
