She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Earnest and Alice Orpin (Farmer); and her brothers, Robert (Anna Mae), David, Clarence (Ruth), Jack (Wilma) and Edwin Orpin.
She is survived by: her nieces, Martha Pajl (James) of Yankton, SD and Alice Keazer (Dale) of Osage City, KS; her sister Marian Ruth Akers of Newton, KS; and her nephew Gary Orpin (Jan) of Hesston, KS.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Broadway Colonial Funeral Home (120 E Broadway St, Newton, KS 67114). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials directed to Paramount Community Living and Rehab, 200 SW 14th St, Newton, KS 67114, or Good Shepherd Hospice, 3515 W. Central Ave, Wichita, KS 67203.
