It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lon Walker (Newton, Kansas), born in Ponca City, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 31, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph William and Marion Christina Travis Walker; and his wife Janice Kerns. He is survived by: his sons, Brian Walker (Barbara) of North Newton and Mike Walker (Terri) of Goessel; his stepchildren, Teresa, Kevin Jones of Shawnee, Dorcas Schirer of Farmington, N. M., Tony, Julie Schirer of Cheyenne, Angela and Kevin Feleay of Topeka; and his brothers, Larry Edgar Walker of Udall and Steve Leonard Walker of Longmont, Colo.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
