It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leonard Harry Goering (Newton, Kansas), born in Moundridge, Kansas, who passed away on September 13, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Goering and Jessie Goering (Schrag); his stepmother Anna Goering; his siblings, Bill, Dan, Herb, Art, Ralph, Jim, Larry, Walt Goering, Elva, Freida and Martha; and his son-in-law Michael Tortorice.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Goering; his children, Mark Goering (Alice), Russell Goering (Julie), Tim Goering (Cheri) and Lori Tortorice; and his siblings, John (Orletta), Harry Goering (Rosie) and Joan Epp (Tony). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the following: Faith Mennonite Church, Mennonite Central Committee, and South Breeze School.
