He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Nuss and Anna Nuss (Matz); and his brother Allen Nuss (Virginia). He is survived by: his wife Patricia of Newton, KS; and his children, Dale Nuss (Becky) of Hillsboro, KS, Elaine VanBuskirk (Kent) of Prairie Village, KS and Jan Knobel (Jim) of Lenexa, KS. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandsons as well as his cherished nieces and nephews.
Being a Christian was always the foundation of his life.
