She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Berg and Dorothy Smith Berg; her son Dustin LeForce; and her sister Carol Martin. She is survived by: her close friend Reuben Monarez; her daughter Denesa Diaz of Wichita; her siblings, David Berg (Julie) of Salina, Hank Berg of Halstead and Sherry Axsom of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Kaleb, Aidan Diaz of Newton and Scarlet Smith of Wichita; her aunt Lenore Smith of Marion; her nephews, Matthew Axsom (Robbi) of Huntersville, NC, Jonathan Axsom (Crystal) of Liberty Hill, TX and Eric Wyant of Las Vegas, NV; and her uncle Bob Smith of Marion.
A memorial has been established with the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
