It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kurt David Friesen (Newton, Kansas), who passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Helmuth, Trude Friesen (Regier), Harry H. and Lottie Weaver (Zimmerman). He is survived by: his daughter Elisabeth Christine; his wife Gwendolyn Neufeld; his daughter Katherine Friesen; his parents, Joachim "Joe" Friesen and Lois Friesen (Weaver); and his brother Karl Friesen (Rachel). He is also survived by in-laws, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Kurt may be made to: Wichita Symphony Orchestra, Bethel College, or North Newton Community Foundation.
