She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey L. Rutenbeck and Iva Fay Rutenbeck (Barr); and her brother Larry Rutenbeck. She is survived by: her husband David W. Hewett; her children, Joel Hewett, Kelly Hewett and Stephanie Hewett; and her grandchildren, Gabe and Iva.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Petersen Funeral Home (215 N Main St, Newton, KS 67114). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Petersen Funeral Home Chapel (215 N Main St, Newton, KS 67114).
