She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester I Brainard and Mary M. Brainard; and her son Richard Oswald (Jacquie). She is survived by: her son John Oswald (Sandy); and her grandson Justin (late Christopher).
Memorial contributions can be made to either Good Shepherd Hospice or Meridian Baptist Church and left in care of Petersen Family Funeral Home.
