Juanita J. Funk Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juanita J. Funk (Newton, Kansas), who passed away on January 18, 2020 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Susie Busenitz (Ortmann); her brother Jonathan Busenitz; and her nephew Douglas Pearce. She is survived by: her father Walter W. Busenitz; her husband David P. Funk; her children, Aaron (Holly Funk), Jason (Nelsy Funk), Titus Funk and Tina (Andrew Price); her siblings, Robert (Marilyn), Stephen, Mark (Joan), Reuben (Diana), Ethan (Denise), Earl (Cori Busenitz), Fern (Rick Rudolph), Elizabeth (Jim Pearce), Lillian (Dan Jerred) and Kip (Pearl Nanninga); and her sister-in-law Rachel (Gordon Busenitz). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Juanita requested that memorials be given to World Indigenous Mission in support of Project Talitha Cumi.
