It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Brunner of Newton, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on September 1, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Brunner and Roberta Brunner (Gaedeke); his brother Larry; his parents-in-law, Ed and Adaline Abrahams; his brothers-in-law, Barry Abrahams and Allen Abrahams; and his son Sean.

He is survived by: his wife Treva Abrahams; his daughters, Stephanie Bortz (Gary) of Winfield, Kansas and Kimberly Giesen (Ed) of Wichita; his siblings, Robert (Pat) of Athens, Texas and Jean Anne Nuss (Richard) of Woodinville; his sister-in-law Mary Brunner (Tom Lewis) of Louisville, Colorado.; and his grandchildren, Kira Bortz, Alex Bortz, Haley Bortz of Winfield, Nikolai Giesen and Canaan Giesen of Wichita.
