He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Pomeroy and Myrtle Pomeroy. He is survived by: his sister Dorothy Kellenbarger; his children, Jerry Pomeroy (Dixie) of Hesston, Kansas and Brenda Austenfeld (Frank) of Naples; his grandson Jason Pomeroy (Diana) of Hesston; his great grandchildren, Jack, George, Charlie and Thomas; his granddaughter Michelle Pomeroy (Jake Winsett) of Buena Vista; his great grandchildren, Valyn and Vera; his granddaughter Abbey Sass (Jake) of Chatfield; his great grandchildren, Sheridan and Merritt; and his grandchildren, Emily Pomeroy of Wichita, Kansas, Hannah Richards (Sam) of England, Rachel Austenfeld and Luke Austenfeld of Kansas City.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Prairie Rose Funeral Homes (613 W 14th St, Harper, KS 67058). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Upchurch Cemetery - Norwich (13250 SE 120 St, Norwich, KS 67118).
