We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2021, at the age of 95, Ilene Rowe (Newton, Kansas), born in Lindsay, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Beaty Hooker and Maud Hooker (Marshall); her spouse Euell B. "Jack" Rowe; and her siblings, Gus, Beaty Jr., Gary Hooker, Agnes O'Rorke and Mattie Holder.

She is survived by: her children, Rick Rowe (Candy) of Wichita, KS, Jill Pierce (Mike) of Wichita, KS and Jana Conwell (Alan) of Salina, KS.; and her close friends, Wayne Wright of Newton, KS and Blanche Cowan of Stockton, MO.. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or Newton Presbyterian Manor in care of Petersen Funeral Home.

Your mother was a special lady and we had telephone conversations until her illness She was so proud of all of her children and loved to talk about all of you. May GOD hold you close and give you peace. She is looking down from heaven a smile on her face she is with her Savior and her beloved Jack. I will miss her too! Donna Stukey”
