It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Schmidt in Newton, Kansas, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Schmidt and Selma Schmidt; and his sister Angela Boho. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Schmidt of Cordell, Oklahoma.; his sisters, Dee Schmidt of Wichita, KS, Lynette June (Howard House) of Vineland, Ontario and Lois; his brothers-in-law, Robert Corbin of Ponca City, OK and Robert Boho; his nephews, Brett House of New York City and Toronto; his niece Krista Lynn House (Ern Bieman); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Caleb, Parker and Ryan (Laura Corbin).
Memorials may be made to Bethel College Booster Club or Newton Lions Club and left with Petersen Funeral Home.
