Hartzel W. Schmidt Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2021, at the age of 95, Hartzel W. Schmidt (Newton, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Schmidt and Anna Lehrman Schmidt; his wife Ilene Schroeder; his children, Rodney Alan (Elizabeth Kintner), Charles Albert (Janie Becker), William Jon, Laurel, Jennifer, Adam and Nicole Asay (Terry); his great grandchildren, Arlo, Alec, Amelia and William J. (Lori Voran); and his daughters, Becky and Rochelle. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel College, Bethel College Mennonite Church or Kidron-Bethel Village.
