He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Rodgers and Lillian Rodgers (Patrick); his wife Andrea Weems; his brothers, Charles, Lee, Marvin and Henry Rodgers; and his grandson Nathaniel Alumbaugh.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jeanenne (Gary Alumbaugh) of Newton and Lenora Carey (Kevin) of Valley Center; his siblings, Alvin Rodgers of Newton, Neva Riley of Newton and Doris Bazil of Newton; his grandchildren, Zacarey Carey (Amanda), Sam Carey (Jessie), Dustin Carey and Nichalous Alumbaugh (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Emmalyn, Adalyn, Coralyn, Kolten and Levi. He is also survived by his daughters, grandchildren and siblings.
