He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Reid and Lola Mae Reid (Snow); his wife Shirley Dean; his daughter Dana Joy Sartain; his brother Robert L Reid; and his nephew Vance G. Reid.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia D. Timmons (Tim) and Daryl G. Reid (Aleda); his sister-in-law Betty Jo Reid; and his sister Ruth Ann Blackwell. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 step grandsons, 19 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
