She was predeceased by: her parents, Evan Richards and Viola Richards; her husband John W. Phillips; her son Monte; and her siblings, Tom Richards and Ida Richards.
She is survived by: her daughter Marci Phillips; her adoptive son Tan Lee; and her grandchildren, Stephanie, Gary Merritt, Kristin and Spike Anderson.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private family service will be held at Petersen Funeral Home followed by a burial in the Greenwood Cemetery Newton.
Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice or Caring Hands Humane Society in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
