He is survived by: his parents, Gerald Sholders (Bud) and Kay Sholders of Newton, Kansas; his former wife Julie Blevins; his sisters, Marcia Whiting (David) of Fort Worth and Patricia Deutschendorf (Troy) of Newton, Kansas; his children, Christopher Sholders (Elizabeth) of Newton, Kansas, Lynsey Oldenettel (Wesley) of Newton, Kansas, Austin Schroeder of Newton, Kansas and Kirsten Sholders of Newton, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Gavin Sholders of Newton, Kansas., Rowan Oldenettel of Newton, Kansas., Karsyn of Newton, Kansas., Paetyn of Newton, Kansas., Taelyn Schroeder of Newton, Kansas., Oliver of Newton, Kansas. and Kinsley Sholders of Newton, Kansas.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
