He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank P. Smith and Anna K Smith (Kluge); his children, Larry Smith and Linda Didier; and his siblings, Edward, Charles Smith and Elizabeth Partridge.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Corber; and his daughters, Lorraine Leaf and Vicki Daniel (John). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
