She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, David Schlotthauer and Lillie Schlotthauer (Haas); her husband Calvin Ridgeway; her sister Lois Johnson of Marion; her sister-in-law Lillian Weinreich of Independence, Missouri; her nieces, Jane Johnson of Marion, Pam Levetzow, Rhonda Oleson of Kansas City and Cindy Holder of California; her nephew Keith Kielman of Lawrence; and her siblings, Lorraine Scott and Robert Schlotthauer.
A memorial has been established with the Orphan Grain Train.
