She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Nunez and Ventura "Terrones" Nunez; her husband Lou Gomez Sr.; her siblings, Max, Aurelio "Willie" Nunez, Vita Sanchez and Isabel Alanzo; her sons, Lou Gomez Jr. and Gilbert Gomez; and her great grandchild Hailey Porter.
She is survived by: her children, Victoria Adame (Frank) and Ventura Porter (Warren); her grandchildren, Kisha Slay (Eric), Chris Gomez, Matt Patton (Leslie), Nicole Pagoyo (Paa), Lina Unruh (Michael), Jeffrey Porter, Jennifer Porter, Andrea Porter, Sarah Keller (Mike), Scott Porter (Jennifer) and Emily Porter (Grant Kohlmeier); and her great grandchildren, Hunter Slay, Chase Slay, Ryder Slay, Francesca Slay, Rubi Patton, Maddox Kaawa, Maeva Kaawa, Heath Unruh, Ellis Unruh, Warren D. Porter, Victor Keller and Walter Keller.
A prayer was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (415 S Ash St, Newton, KS 67114). A Mass was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery (1024 E 1st St, Newton, KS 67114).
