It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas M Turner of Newton, Kansas, born in Batesville, Arkansas, who passed away on June 1, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis N. Turner and Esther Battles Turner; and his siblings, Eunice Turner, Bunice Coleman, Wanda Simmons, Armilda Ralls, Opaline Martin, Clay Turner, L. N. Turner, Jr., Jim Turner, Jack Turner and Jerry Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Day Turner; his children, Marsha Kelly (David) of Cave City, Michael Turner (Kim) of Wichita, KS and Mark Turner (Sherri) of Greenbriar; and his great grandchildren, Brady, Colt, Blakely, Sawyer, Paisley, Sadie, Sophie and Silas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, & friends.
