She was predeceased by: her parents, Egbert Schuessler and Inez Schuessler (Hanna); her son Douglas Alan; her brother James Schuessler; her brother-in-law Jim Yock; and her sons-in-law, Jack Smith and Chuck Willhoite.

She is survived by: her husband Jack A. Unruh; her children, Steven Unruh (LaNae) of Moundridge, Gary Unruh (Suzanne) of Richmond, TX and Cheryl Ferris (Robert) of Newton; her siblings, Albert Schuessler (Shirley), Marilyn Mosiman (Don) and Joyce Yock; and her sister-in-law Donna Schuessler. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
