Diana Desmond Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diana Desmond (Newton, Kansas), born in Halstead, Kansas, who passed away on December 11, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Schrag and Bertha Gehring Schrag; her husband John L. Desmond; her sisters, Jane Ford and Judy Regier; her brother-in-law Louis Regier; and her nephew Lavern Wedel.
She is survived by: her siblings, Dale Schrag (Carol) of Newton, Donnie Schrag (Shirley) of Halstead and Delila Wedel (Lester) of Newton; her brother-in-law Keith Ford of Ft. Ogelthorpe; and her nieces and nephews, Rachel Nicholson, Theresa Fluck, Cheryl Plumley, Jean Cumbie, Lynn Wedel, Lyle Wedel, Doug Regier and Jeff Schrag.
Those attending are asked to follow proper Covid restrictions.
A memorial has been established with Awana, the Union Rescue Mission and Child Evangelism Fellowship.
